Blog Set up

Sheesh, I figured I would have had an easy time setting up my blog. I have a crap load to learn.

I have been trying to add a map so my family can see where I go from day to day. That was a bear.

Starting to take some shape now.

Well i think we are almost ready for prime time. I need to thank (althought he doesn't know it) Lyndon001 at H and R. I didn't steal his code but did get some ideas from his site.

Well coffee with H and R tonight. Updates to follow.

Had a great discussion with George from H and R last night. I am pretty well sold that it is the right fit.

Samples and orientation next.

Hey Al thanks for the tip. I am just a newbie so it may take some time.

Hey Al,

Stumbled on to this in my travels through the internet. Good luck with the new adventure, sounds pretty cool.

I'll check in to see how you are doing and let me know if you are ever driving through Sault Ste. Marie.

Cheers,

Thanks MicK,

Hope to see you there....Oct 7th cannot come fast enough. I gave 5 weeks notice to my present employer and am regretting that. I was looking at templates at http://www.pyzam.com/bloggertemplates/all/newest but for whatever reason I get some wonky errors. Will have lots of time once i am mobile.

Hi Al,this is Mick.
We are coming over to H&R definately in December, so hope to meet up sometime.

I hacked one of the regular templates to make Caths blog, but I had already had a blog for a few years so was used to how CSS works.

Just get into the code and play with it mate.

Cath is going to add your site to her sidebar.

Mick, sorry it took so long to respond. Yeah I am playing bit by bit (no pun). Once i get in the truck I will modify again.

We have a conference in Abbotsford, BC next weekend so although i have hired on with HR I will go and get to know them a bit better.

I will be going to Lethbridge Oct 6 so hopefully will be in a truck by end of that week.

Will watch for you.
